Sincere sympathy to Alice's family. She was a lovely, lovely woman. We got to know her, only slightly, at Rockwood Terrace. She was often downstairs having coffee when my sisters arrived to visit my parents, and later our mother. She'd always say, with a big smile, "Here come the Turner girls". In fact, after Dad passed away she told us she would "keep an eye" on our mother for us. We have missed seeing her during the past year when Covid kept residents in their rooms. Like I said, Alice was a lovely, lovely lady!
Our deepest sympathies. We were so sorry to hear of Alice's passing and have missed seeing her over the last year. She was a pleasure to visit with over the years during pet therapy and music afternoons, calling herself Grandma Alice to our sons, loving to chat about all things Normanby and even a bit of church politics.
Alice was such a wonderful friend to my Grandma Betty Clark and was so appreciative of the trips we took to The Grey Bruce Singers. Always such a bit of fun to visit with her when seeing Gramma. She will hold a special place in my heart.
