 Margaret Magdalena Schenk the former Margaret Brusso, beloved wife of the late Lorne (Dick) Schenk of Ayton passed away at the Hanover and District Hospital on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the age of 89 years. Dear mother of Louise Schenk and Wayne Douglas of Minto twp., and Jane Schenk and Chris Hand of Fredericton, New Brunswick. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, Olivia, Genevieve, William and Sarah, a sister in law Verna Brusso of Ayton, 2 nieces Suzie Kreller and Jean Tone and special friend of Maxine and Denise Widemeyer. Predeceased by a brother William Brusso and a nephew David Brown. A Memorial Service of Remembrance will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Ayton on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11:00am. Reverend David Wunderlich officiating. Memorial donations to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Hanover and District Hospital would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Philip Harold Allen beloved husband of Ruth Allen of Clifford passed away at North Wellington Health Care in Palmerston on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the age of 78 years. Dear father of Karen Allen of Clifford, Deborah Power and Fred of Owen Sound, William Allen and Colleen of Clifford and Darlene Allen of Grimsby. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a brother Richard (Nettie) Allen of Dundas and a sister Joan Hooper of Victoria B.C. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service of Remembrance will be held at Knox United Church in Clifford on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 1:00pm. Reverend Heather Leffler officiating.  William Henry Fidler beloved husband and best friend of Rena Thomson of Hanover passed away at the Hanover and District Hospital on Friday, December 16, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Dear father of Darlene Fidler and Ken Fidler both of Hanover. Also survived by 2 grandchildren Christopher and Graham Geiger, a sister Esther Dallas of Brampton, a brother Gerald (Verona) Fidler of Hanover, 2 sisters in law Joy Fidler of Elmwood and Reta Fidler of Lucknow and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 daughters Colleen Fidler (1963) and Leone Geiger (2005), 1 sister Lillian Martin and 5 brothers Harold, Clarence, Ivan, Clayton and Edward Fidler. Cremation has taken place. Mildred Wettlaufer beloved wife of Leonard Wettlaufer of Hanover passed away at St. Mary's General Hospital in Kitchener on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the age of 81 years. Dear mother of Pat and Valerie Wettlaufer of Hanover, Joan and Calvin Burrell of Walkerton, Joe and MaryLou Wettlaufer of Hanover, and Barry Wettlaufer and Patricia Munro of Exeter. Also survived by grandchildren Tim, Tracey, Lisa, Carrie, Ryan, Justin and Ashley, great grandchildren Luke, Gabby, Sebastian, Sydney, Dillon, Micki, Krista, Mason, Kyle and Cole, a brother Nelson Cronin of Stoney Creek and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Michael, 4 brothers Leonard, Elmer, Ralph, and Pat Cronin and 1 sister Irene Huber. Friends may call at the Garrett Funeral Chapel in Neustadt on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Hugh Donald Witter beloved husband of Ruth Russwurm of Neustadt passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Walkerton on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the age of 77 years. Dear father of Cheryl and Glen Rhody of Elmwood, Hugh Jr. and Craig both of Neustadt. Also survived by grandchildren Terry, Lisa and Jason, Destiny and Jason and Alisha, great grandchildren Charm, Mylia, Cole, Austin, Jordan and Clover. Fondly remembered by Melvin Wettlaufer. Predeceased by a son Richard (1991), his parents John and Marie Witter and a brother John. Hugh was the last surviving member of his family.
