MARTIN HOPF

Martin John Hopf of Neustadt beloved husband of the late Shirley Weber passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Walkerton on Saturday, August 28, 2010 aged 82 years. Dear father of Dianne Kelly and her husband Hubert of Toronto. Also survived by his longtime dear friend Ruth Hetsler of Walkerton, 2 granddaughters Erin and Michelle and 3 sisters Hazel Lantz and Harold of Neustadt, Dorothy Phillips and Leslie of Toronto and Fern Paris of Stratford. Predeceased by 3 sisters Jean Buhrow, Beatrice Baetz and Margaret Steele and 2 brothers Gerald and Ronald Hopf.

There will be no funeral home visitation. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Carlsruhe on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 11:00am. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated as expessions of sympathy.

Leonard Theodore Holm beloved husband of the former Jean Gerber of Hanover, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Walkerton on Monday, August 16, 2010 at the age of 80 years. Dear father of Linda Alcock and her husband Jerry and Susan Etsell all of Hanover. Also survived by 3 grandchildren Jennifer, Michael, and Shawn, 4 great grandchildren Kentaya, Regan, Blace and Austin and a sister Vera Winfield of Elmira.

BEATRICE STEINACKER

Beatrice Steinacker passed away peacefully at Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Sunday, August 1, 2010 in her 87th year.  Beatrice was born in Brant Township, Bruce County, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Nettie (Whitehead) Michell.  She was the beloved wife of the late John Steinacker (June 15, 2008) whom she married in 1945.  Dear mother of Glenn Steinacker and his wife Dianne of Kitchener, Marion Wallace and her husband Gary of Ayton, Bruce Steinacker and his wife Donna of Ayton, and Muriel Trendell and her husband Gary of Kitchener.  Also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and her sister Grace Keegstra and her husband Bob of Oakwood.  Predeceased by her granddaughter Deborah Steinacker, and by her siblings Elizabeth Becker and her husband William, Norma Litt and her husband Theo, Myrtle Abell and her husband Allan, Leslie Michell and his wives Estelle and Evelyn, and Rose Michell in infancy.

Friends may call at the Garrett Funeral Chapel, Clifford on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 4th at 11:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at Rockwood Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Frederick Kreager beloved husband of the former Laura Jackson of Hanover passed away at the Hanover and District Hospital on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Dear father of Ron Kreager of Ingersoll, Kathy Kirk and Ken of Drayton, Wendy Martin and Rob of Belleville, Linda Kreager and Rob of Cambridge and Steven Kreager of Guelph. Also survived by 8 grandchildren Christopher, Daniel, Darryl, Katelyn, Carlee, Alexandra, Angela and Jeffrey, a great granddaughter Hailee and 2 sisters Helen Wettlaufer of Normanby twp and Doreen Kartechner and Roy of Hanover. Predeceased by a brother Melvin Kreager and 2 sisters Leola Seegmiller and Eileen Sachs.

Dear mother of Melissa Helwig of Oakville and Lucas Helwig at home. Loving sister of Carol Schneider (Gary) of Mildmay, Brian Dahms (Terri) of Mississauga, Brenda Newans (Peter) of Mildmay, Wayne Dahms (Liz) of Mildmay, Reg Dahms (Fran) of Walkerton, twin brother Darryl Dahms (Annette) of Brant twp., and Sherrie Kestner (Frank) of Barrie. Also survived by her mother in law Ruth Helwig of Neustadt and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Harvey and Audrey (White) Dahms.

Predeceased by 2 sisters Mildred Lange and Mieletta Rupenthal and 3 brothers Wilfred, Clarence and Edgar Lembke.
